L eaving from Grado and travelling along the autoroute leading to Trieste (easterly direction), after about twenty kilometers one is in the proximity of the memorial of Redipuglia, which was dedicated in 1938, the final resting place of 100, 187 fallen soldiers of the Great War. Beginning here, one passes by the mountain of San Michele in the direction of Gorizia (45km from Grado) and leads one to the battle fields of the Great War.
