The Banco d’Orio is a long stretch of sand which divides the lagoon of Grado from the Adriatic Sea to the west of the City of Grado.

This beautiful, natural beach has always been the chosen destination for the Gradese during small outings by boat, because this long island is accessible solely by sea and it is also for this reason that in the high season it is particularly appreciated as a tranquil spot, also for its numerous species of birds which choose to construct their nests there.
