The Spa Centre of the

Island
has a historic birthday: 25th June 1892, when the Emperor Francis Joseph acknowledged Grado as the "official health resort" for the Hapsburg Empire. Since then, the Thermal Baths have enjoyed continued success and innovation because, while their traditions are over a century old, their beneficial effects always appear eternally young and vital.
Grado's geographical location offers a mild microclimate throughout the whole year. The ionised seawater and the sand, rich in beneficial minerals, reinvigorate both the body and the soul during the whole year.
