Marano is a small city with Venetien origins located within a lagoon of the same name, which has launched a tourism of a particularly naturalistic character, with the creation of the Riserva Naturale delle foci dell’Isonzo e della Valle Canal Novo, welcoming tourists in its small, pleasant historic centre for a lovely walk amongst the inhabitants who are nearly completely dedicated to fishing.
