The castle of Miramare is certainly on the most beautiful and visited places of the region: completed in 1860 according to the wishes of the Archduke Maximilian Hapsburg, it still maintains the original furnishings and decorations of the period; inside one is able to visit the throne room, the apartments of Maximilian, the study, the conservatory, and the apartments of the Duke Amedeo of Aosta with its furnishings from the thirties.
The park, the stables, guardhouse, and the ancient greenhouse complete this satisfying excursion.
