It is also possible to tranquilly practice snorkeling here in Grado; it is sufficient to possess a snorkeling mask and a snorkel which allows one to breathe without having to raise one’s head out of the water, allowing on the possibility of continuing uninterrupted to look at the bottom of the sea.
For this tranquil sport, in a particular way, the tract of sea opposite the Nazzario Sauro passage, where at a short distance from the shore one reaches a depth which goes from one to three meters where one is able to explore two old seawalls submerged nearly a kilometer; about a hundred meters further at nearly four meters of water one is able to explore the remains of an old bell-tower completing one’s adventurous excursion.
